We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance – Capital, Property & Supply Chain to join our team. In this high-impact strategic role, you will take ownership of deploying our annual ~$0.5b capital investment program, managing the financial performance of ~$2,100 property assets, and driving the commercial direction of our supply chain and fulfillment capabilities.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you will lead a multi-layered team and serve as a trusted commercial partner to senior executive leadership, including the Group CFO, CEO, GM of Supply Chain, and Property Senior Managers. You will lead the capital allocation strategy, manage large-scale cost bases, and establish best-practice governance frameworks to ensure sustainable long-term value creation

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead long-range financial planning, budgets, and forecasts for capital, property, and supply chain portfolios. Proactively monitor performance drivers, establish early warning signals, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead the capital allocation and prioritization framework across the group. Act as the centre of excellence for business case formulation, investment charters, risk appetites, and post-implementation benefits tracking.
• Deliver critical commercial evaluation for retail open/closures, hotel acquisitions, developments, and sale/leaseback transactions. Optimize the ~$0.2b facilities management cost base (including energy, waste, and maintenance) and key external partner relationships.
• Drive financial due diligence on major supply chain sourcing and fulfillment initiatives. Proactively manage and optimize the ~$0.3b supply chain cost base, collaborating with eCommerce and partner networks to reduce delivery costs per order.
• Support financial due diligence for M&A opportunities from evaluation through transaction completion.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire direct and indirect reports across capital, property, and supply chain functions, driving a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

We are looking for an authentic, pragmatic, and curious finance leader who thrives in complex, matrix environments and leads through ambiguity with composure.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• 15+ years of experience, with extensive depth in Commercial Finance leadership.
• Formal accounting qualification (CA/CPA).
• Proven track record partnering with senior executives to shape strategy and deliver financial outcomes.
• Demonstrated expertise in capital allocation frameworks, business case development, scenario modeling, and cyclical benefits tracking for complex programs.
• Experience evaluating M&A proposals and material strategic investments.
• Exceptional leadership capability, with a history of developing high-performing, collaborative teams.

Desirable Experience:

• Background in Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, or Property industries.
• Experience navigating Digital & Technology transformation programs.
• Strong background in Corporate Finance or M&A.
