We’re looking for a Head of Finance and Controlling Männedorf and Triesen to lead all statutory and IFRS financial closures, oversee budgeting and controlling, and ensure full compliance across both sites.

About the Job

Your main responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the end-to-end closing process and sign-off of financial statements in line with statutory requirements (HB1) and Group reporting in line with IFRS (HB2), including clear management commentary based on sound financial analysis
  • Lead the accounting and controlling teams based in Männedorf and Triesen. including goal setting, performance and potential evaluations, coaching, and day-to-day people leadership.
  • Own the budget and rolling forecast process end-to-end, including local alignment and submission to Corporate Controlling.
  • Review corporate tax returns prepared by the accounting team
  • Own the statutory internal control system (ICS) and ensure effective alignment with operational controls in the shared service centers and the group-wide ICS.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (e.g. banks, authorities, Corporate Tax, Corporate Controlling, Group Accounting) and with local entity management
  • Ensure compliant valuation of holding entity investments , monitor equity positions, and propose and implement remediation measures where needed
  • Support Global Business Service and Corporate Finance in defined projects

About You

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong expertise in financial accounting, financial analysis, treasury management, and auditing, and ideally being a certified auditor
  • A solid foundational knowledge of controlling and taxes
  • Experience working with SAP or a comparable ERP system
  • Proven project management capabilities
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, highly networked virtual environment
  • Capacity to understand the big picture while also being able to dive deeply into details, strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A result‑ and solution‑oriented approach
  • A high degree of independence and ownership in your work
