Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a leading importer and manufacturer of agricultural products in their search for a Head of Financebased in Pasay City.

Salary Range Up to ₱150,000

The role

This Head of Finance position will ad the overall financial strategy, planning, reporting, and governance of the organization. The role is responsible for ensuring financial sustainability, optimizing profitability, managing cash flow and working capital, strengthening financial controls, and supporting business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Your Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Serve as a key business partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and investment evaluation initiatives.
  • Drive profitability improvement and cost optimization across all business units.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
  • Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze key financial and operational metrics, including margins, production costs, yield performance, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management and shareholders.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage external audits, tax audits, and regulatory examinations.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and internal control standards.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity management activities.
  • Optimize working capital, including inventory, receivables, and payables management.
  • Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and debt obligations.
  • Evaluate funding requirements and recommend financing strategies.

Cost Management & Operational Finance

  • Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis.
  • Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor commodity price fluctuations and assess their financial impact on business performance.
  • Establish robust cost control measures across manufacturing, farming, and distribution operations.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide financial risk management frameworks.
  • Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify financial, operational, and market risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management and fraud prevention policies.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Build organizational capabilities to support business expansion and transformation initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.
  • Proven and progressive experience in finance and accounting, with senior leadership role.
  • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
  • Background in food manufacturing, agribusiness, FMCG, agriculture, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale budgets, working capital, and business profitability.
