Ipswich High School is seeking an exceptional Head of Finance to play a central role in shaping the future of our school.
As a key member of our senior team, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all financial services.
Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3 – 18.
You will work closely with the Head, Senior Leadership Team, Directors and Governors, contributing to high-level decision-making and helping to steer the school through both day-to-day operations and long-term planning. From budget setting and financial forecasting to compliance, audit and income generation, you will lead with both precision and vision.
This role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong transactional finance, forecasting and financial management experience, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career or for an experienced practitioner seeking a broader role with ownership of the school’s full finance function.
