As Head of Finance, you'll own and scale the day-to-day finance function at Insify as we grow across Europe. You'll partner with the CEO and the exec team on planning, budgeting, and the financial decisions that shape the business, while running a tight, lean operation underneath. Your work decides how confidently we can move on the numbers, reporting, and compliance.

What you’ll be up to (some examples):

• Run and continuously improve our finance operations across accounting, cash management, tax, compliance, and business partnering
• Lead the monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, and turn the output into decisions the leadership team can act on
• Own our reporting to risk carriers and stay ahead of regulatory and statutory obligations across NL, FR, and DE
• Partner with the CEO and exec team on board materials, investor updates, and the financial story behind the strategy
• Build the AI and automation layer in finance yourself: pull your own data, build your own reports, and replace manual work where you can

Your profile:

• Have 8+ years in finance, combining a foundation in Big 4 (audit, M&A, or transaction services) with operational finance in a fast-moving tech company
• Read a balance sheet with a commercial lens, not just an accounting one
• Have run the full close-to-report cycle and tightened the underlying processes as you went
• Are technically self-sufficient: you write your own SQL, model in Excel, and use AI tools to remove finance grunt work
• Operate as a real business partner across product, ops, and commercial, not as a back-office gatekeeper

• You want to stay in your lane: This role demands a finance leader who is deeply integrated with the rest of the business. If you prefer to operate in isolation, this isn't the right fit.
• You prioritise a 40-hour work week: We operate in a high-intensity 'startup-plus' environment. This isn't a standard 9-to-6; driving global impact here requires a level of dedication and 'always-on' spirit that goes well beyond the typical 40-hour work week.
• You prefer polished, structured environments: Insify is high-growth and high-intensity. If you need a perfectly defined remit or a stable operating environment to do your best work, this role will be frustrating.
• A steep learning curve feels daunting: We move fast and use cutting-edge AI. You need to be an aggressive self-learner who can master new domains and tools quickly.
