Amplifon Switzerland, with over 300 employees across Switzerland and its headquarters in Baar, is currently looking for a Head of Finance to join the team.

Mission

In this role you will act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and leadership team, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and performance. You will lead all finance activities in Switzerland, guaranteeing alignment with Group standards while supporting sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Compliance

  • Set up and maintain robust accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and alignment with IFRS standards for Group reporting
  • Oversee all accounting activities, including:
    • General ledger and financial accounting
    • Fixed assets
    • Accounts receivable and payable
    • Payment transactions and cash pooling

Planning & Controlling

  • Act as a key advisor to the General Manager and leadership team, providing qualitative and quantitative financial insights
  • Drive business performance through analysis and decision support
  • Implement and manage performance measurement systems to evaluate ROI on Capex, M&A, and Marketing investments
  • Oversee contract management (excluding employment and supplier contracts)

Treasury

  • Monitor and forecast cash flow
  • Optimize working capital and liquidity management

Tax

  • Ensure full compliance with Swiss direct and indirect tax regulations (including VAT)
  • Manage timely and accurate tax reporting and forecasting to Group HQ
  • Support tax optimization initiatives and ensure alignment with Group tax strategy
  • Implement and maintain transfer pricing policies and ensure proper local documentation
  • Coordinate with local tax advisors and authorities (cantonal and federal)
  • Support tax audits and litigation processes
  • Ensure tax due diligence in M&A projects

Reporting & Budgeting

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in line with Group guidelines
  • Ensure accuracy of statutory accounts ( Swiss GAAP / OR) and Group reporting ( IFRS)

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team
  • Act as the main finance interface for internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as a key point of contact for legal matters in collaboration with external law firms

Your Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Swiss CPA / equivalent is a plus)
  • Solid experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in international and matrix organizations
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP (OR)
  • Proven experience in financial planning, controlling, and compliance
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent analytical mindset and business acumen
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
  • Fluent in English; German or French is highly desirable depending on location
