About the Role

The Head of Finance is a key leadership role responsible for the overall financial health and performance of the company. This role will lead all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, treasury management, and investor relations. The Head of Finance will work closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure financial strategies are aligned with the company's strategic goals and vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, and tax compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead the budgeting process, developing and managing the company's annual budget and forecasting future financial performance.
• Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity and working capital.
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Advise the CEO and executive team on financial matters, including strategic investments, acquisitions, and divestitures.

• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, including hiring, training, and developing their skills to ensure a high-performing team.

• Stay abreast of the latest financial trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles

• Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and driving profitability.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.

• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
