Define and maintain the EPMO operating model, scope of services, governance interfaces, and authorities.
Promote a culture of disciplined planning, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide regular executive reporting on portfolio health, delivery capability, systemic risks, and improvement priorities.
Serve as executive custodian of the enterprise Project Delivery System (PDS), ensuring enterprise-wide consistency.
Approve major updates to standards, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory obligations.
Standardize terminology, definitions, and requirements across all projects and Business Units.
Establish enterprise expectations and decision checkpoints for project definition and planning maturity.
Provide independent readiness assessments for key approvals and identify systemic gaps or emerging risks.
Define expectations for project planning, scheduling, cost management, and performance monitoring.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and capture lessons learned across project teams and Business Units.
Develop a scalable EPMO framework and identify capability gaps in processes, tools, and competencies.
Monitor industry trends to inform enhancements to institutional knowledge repositories.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
Preferably with Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Project Management
Minimum 15 years of experience in capital project delivery, PMO leadership or related roles
Experience in large engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
Preferably with experience in EPC or Owner-organization or project management consultancies
With PMP or equivalent professional certification
