OUR CLIENT is an award-winning international developer and distributor of innovative betting products. The company operates in the international iGaming space and delivers a mix of live and digital gaming experiences for B2B partners worldwide.
About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Engineering to take full ownership of execution and delivery across the engineering organization. This role is directly reporting to the CTO and is critical in scaling engineering function in a real-time, high-availability product environment, turning strategy into predictable, high-quality delivery.
You will lead engineering through Product Owners/Team Leads, ensuring teams operate with strong ownership, clear priorities, and consistent delivery discipline.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of the engineering roadmap, ensuring predictability and transparency;
- Drive execution across multiple teams in a real-time, high-availability environment;
- Lead and develop Product Owners/Team Leads;
- Ensure realistic planning (incl. tech debt, bugs, incidents);
- Manage cross-team dependencies and remove blockers;
- Establish and run effective engineering operations (on-call, incident handling, planning discipline);
- Enforce engineering quality through execution in alignment with architecture standards defined by Architects team;
- Build a strong accountability culture with clear ownership.

- Proven track record of running engineering organizations with high delivery predictability;
- Strong execution mindset — able to turn ambiguity into clear plans and outcomes;
- Solid technical background (backend systems, APIs, distributed systems);
- Experience working in high-availability / production-critical environments;
- Confident working with senior engineers and challenging decisions when needed;
- Strong people leadership experience (managing managers);
- Excellent prioritization and decision-making under uncertainty;
- Ability to align engineering with product and business goals.
