The Head of Employee Relations, Engagement & Internal Communications is a strategic people leader responsible for building the relational, engagement, and communication foundations that will sustain Banglalink's strategic transformation from the inside out. This role combines rigorous ER governance with modern engagement design, change communication expertise, and digital internal communication capability. Your mandate is to ensure Banglalink's workforce stays connected, compliant, motivated, and proud — through the most exciting and demanding period in the company's history.
Employee Relations & People Operations
Develop and lead Banglalink's Employee Relations strategy, policies, and governance framework to build a fair, compliant, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
Lead end-to-end employee relations, including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, labour law compliance, and people operations.
Partner with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to identify people’s risks, strengthen manager capability, support organizational change, and improve employee experience.
Drive employee relations governance through policy implementation, compliance audits, regulatory liaison, and people analytics to reduce risk and strengthen workplace practices.
Employee Engagement
Develop and lead Banglalink's employee engagement strategy to enhance employee experience, reinforce Company values, and build a high-performing and inclusive culture.
Lead employee engagement initiatives, including employee listening, pulse surveys, recognition, wellness, leadership engagement, and culture-building programs.
Partner with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to improve leadership capability, employee engagement, organizational health, and business-specific action plans.
Act as the link between employees and leadership by turning employee feedback and workforce insights into meaningful actions and engagement initiatives.
Use engagement surveys, employee feedback, and people analytics to improve employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and business performance.
Internal Communications
Develop and lead Banglalink's internal communication strategy to deliver clear, timely, and engaging communication aligned with the Company's vision, values, culture, and strategic priorities.
Partner with the CEO, CHRAO, senior leaders, and business teams to deliver leadership messages, change communication, town halls, and employee communication campaigns.
Strengthen internal communication through digital platforms, leadership storytelling, employee success stories, innovation updates, and targeted communication campaigns.
Measure communication effectiveness through employee feedback, engagement, and communication analytics, and continuously improve organizational alignment and employee connection.
Academic Qualification
BBA/MBA
Job Experience Required
10-12 years of experience, including minimum 5 years of relevant experience in telecom, digital services, technology, or comparable fast-paced industries.
Required Capabilities
Deep expertise in Bangladesh Labour Law, employment compliance, and complex ER case management — in a large corporate or regulated industry (telecom, banking, or equivalent).
Modern engagement strategy design: continuous listening tools, engagement analytics platforms, science-based frameworks — not just survey administration.
Digital internal communications expertise: intranet management, digital content calendars, video and podcast-based employee comms, mobile-first channels.
Change management capability — able to design communication and engagement interventions that hold confidence and alignment during large-scale transformation.
People analytics orientation: Power BI or equivalent, engagement sentiment tools, HR dashboards — delivers insights, not just reports.
DEI program design and implementation with measurable commitments; understanding of inclusive workplace practice in Bangladesh's evolving corporate environment.
Executive-level stakeholder management advises, influences, and partners with C-suite on sensitive people matters without flinching.
Exceptional writing and communication skills — produces compelling leadership messaging, strategic comms, and editorial content for diverse audiences at pace.
