About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of eCommerce to lead the ecommerce strategy and performance across Platypus Shoes, Hype DC and Subtype.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital you’ll lead a high-performing ecommerce team and own commercial performance, trading strategy and the digital customer experience across three leading retail brands.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Own ecommerce forecasting, budgeting and commercial planning across all three brands.
• Deliver sales, margin and profit targets through effective ecommerce trading.
• Lead onsite merchandising, promotions, campaigns and customer experience.
• Drive CRO, personalisation, UX and product discovery to improve conversion and engagement.
• Own and prioritise the ecommerce roadmap and lead key digital projects.
• Partner with Digital Delivery, IT, CRM, Performance Marketing, SEO, MarTech and Supply Chain to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Lead and develop a team of seven, including three Ecommerce Managers.
• Champion AI, automation and emerging digital capabilities to improve productivity and performance.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years in a senior ecommerce leadership role, ideally within retail or a consumer environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivering ecommerce growth.
• Deep understanding of ecommerce trading, CRO, onsite merchandising and digital customer experience.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• A customer-first, commercially minded approach with a passion for digital innovation, AI and emerging technologies.
