Be a hands-on leader in the LATAM Team to help steer the LATAM B2B eCommerce team, creating an innovative and learning team culture! In this role, you will acquire knowledge of shopping behavior and the retail landscape across all B2B platforms. These include web, mobile, applications, and physical locations. You will apply this knowledge to help drive digital strategy and complete digital solutions for strategic customers across retail channels.

Core Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy and Planning:
Ensure that the LATAM eComm channel opportunities are well reflected in the Go to Market plans and Customer Business Plans.
Leading, finding opportunities and driving growth of the eComm channel in LATAM focusing on strategic priorities.
Input into LEGO global / AMS eComm direction and convert into actionable local initiatives.
Identify emerging eComm opportunities and bring them to life.
Drive collaborations with LATAM sales team and cross functional teams to ensure broad strategy alignment is included in the digital execution across various account plans.
Key partner for GM in eComm related daily business tasks.
Lead best in class digital merchandising executions with B2B clients
For strategic customers:
Apply understanding of retailer’s digital strategies in conjunction with LEGO strategy to agree annual joint digital plans as part of the joint business plan (including test & learn).
Create and maintain a commercially focused digital plan to ensure maximum exposure and conversion.
Lead relationships with all eComm customers and serve as senior customer point of contact.
Lead account strategy, including discussions, innovations and testing.
Execution and Evaluation:
Bring brands to life through execution and management of Go-To-Market initiatives directly working with key departments within our selected retailers to build and activate plans.
Project manager execution of plans in collaboration with sales, marketing ensuring clear organizational alignment for efficient execution (RAID).
Implement digital initiatives within customers ensuring seamless experience across channels (online, mobile, app, store).
Evaluate and share post activity results with recommendations both internally and externally in order to drive continuous improvement and embed findings with sales team.
Accountable for coordinating campaigns & activities across LATAM eComm customers.
People Leadership:
Lead a team of 2.
Work in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing and Trade Marketing colleagues and also drive capability building across the LATAM organization.
Coordinate eComm team resources to provide effective support to all required customers with e-Comm sales and alignment of those plans across geographies.
Facilitate talent development and retention of digital workforce within BU, building a strong and collaborative work environment - Build a test and learn culture to encourage innovation and experimentation - Lead and develop capabilities for eCommerce team

Establishing an ecommerce strategy and its implementation is key growth driver for LEGO in LATAM. Ecommerce team is expected to run all the B2B ecommerce activations across Mexico and Brazil markets with best-in-class quality by collaborating with other functions e.g. Marketing, Sales, Operations, Distributors, Enablers, Regional team to deliver harmonised brand experience across touch points.
Do you have what it takes?
Demonstrated advanced experience in ecommerce and/or other digital marketing prowess ideally from a premium consumer brand or digital agency with a few years in a people leadership capacity
Fully operational in selling and negotiation skills, sales & commercial analysis and customer collaboration.
First-hand experience with LATAM ecommerce platforms - either from brand principal’s side or vendor/merchant management side.
Full understanding of the conversion funnel, the digital retail landscape, and the dynamics of ecommerce and omni-channel, as well as thorough knowledge of new shopper acquisition channels
Commercially and strong persuading skills
A proven track-record of developing and implementing digital solutions or campaigns based on shopper insights
Excellent analytical skills, a passion for data metrics and turning analysis into the creation and execution of actionable e-commerce programs and digital campaigns
Digitally fluent, including the ability to understand key technical issues and their implications
Strong networking skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically, but also have a “hands-on” approach
Relocation
There is no relocation budget for this role.
