About the Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking and hands-on leader to head our Documentation and Enablement team. This team plays a critical role in empowering deployment teams, professional services, implementation partners, administrators, and end users to successfully deploy, install, configure, administrate, and use our enterprise software solutions.
As the Head of Documentation and Enablement, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of technical writers, instructional designers, and video editors. You will be responsible for defining and executing a cohesive enablement strategy that ensures our stakeholders have access to high-quality, accurate, and engaging content across formats and channels.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the overall strategy and roadmap for documentation and enablement.
Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team of writers, instructional designers, and video creators.
Oversee creation and maintenance of all documentation and enablement content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and ease of use.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners to ensure content aligns with releases and stakeholder needs.
Develop scalable enablement programs that support internal teams, partners, and customers throughout deployment and adoption.
Establish and track metrics that measure effectiveness and continuously refine content based on analytics, feedback, and product changes.
Implement and evolve documentation standards, templates, governance, and tooling, including responsible adoption of AI to enhance productivity and quality.
Continuously innovate enablement methods by staying current with industry trends, instructional design best practices, and emerging content technologies.
Requirements
4+ years experience leading documentation or enablement teams in a B2B enterprise software environment.
Strong understanding of technical writing, instructional design, and multimedia content creation.
Familiarity with modern documentation platforms, LMS systems, and video editing tools.
Awareness of how AI and automation can support content development and learning experiences.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Native-level fluency in English, French is a plus.
