Required training and experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s in Special Education or a recognized postgraduate qualification in the area of diversity and inclusion
  • Professional Teaching Qualification
  • Over five years of experience with students with diverse learning needs
  • Relevant leadership experience
  • International Baccalaureate experience and training for Inclusive practices

Required skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency and accuracy in written and spoken English
  • Technology skills at a level that permits the creative and effective use of information and computer technology in the classroom
  • Strong organizational skills

Valued attributes:

  • Certification to screen students with specific learning difficulties
  • Willingness to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
