Remuneration & Details
• Classification: HS10
• Salary Range: $161,226 + super + salary packaging
• Reports to: Executive Director, People & Corporate Services
• Direct Reports: 3–6

This is not a “keep the lights on” IT role. This is a strategic leadership opportunity to redefine how digital enables care, safety, and operational excellence across a complex, statewide service.
You’ll sit at the Senior Leadership table, influencing direction, investment and innovation—while building a modern, resilient and future-ready digital environment.

About the Opportunity
As Head of Digital Services, you will lead the end-to-end digital function—strategy, operations, cyber security, and transformation.

Reporting to the Executive Director, People & Corporate Services, you will:
• Set and deliver a multi-year digital and technology roadmap aligned to organisational strategy
• Lift cyber maturity and resilience across a highly regulated environment
• Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, embedding modern, technology-enabled ways of working
• Lead AI exploration and adoption to improve efficiency and workforce productivity
• Partner with clinical and corporate leaders to co-design impactful solutions
You’ll lead a capable team (3–6 direct reports) and shape the evolution of digital services at scale.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Enterprise digital strategy, governance and investment prioritisation
• Technology operations, service reliability and vendor ecosystem management
• Cyber security uplift and compliance with government frameworks
• Data maturity and governance in secure health environments
• Large-scale organisational change and adoption of new technologies
• Building a high-performing, future-ready digital team
• Influencing executive decision-making with strategic insight and foresight

What You Bring
You are a progressive, enterprise-level digital leader who can balance strategy, execution and influence.
Your experience includes:
• 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Leading complex digital transformations in health, government or regulated sectors
• Delivering multi-year roadmaps and digital maturity uplift programs
• Strong expertise across infrastructure, platforms, cyber security and emerging tech
• Experience introducing AI or advanced technologies into operational environments
• Proven ability to engage and influence executive and clinical stakeholders
• Leading teams through significant change with clarity and purpose
