
The Head of Digital Marketing will lead Neuberger's digital marketing strategy with responsibility for the corporate website ecosystem, email marketing program, UX/UI standards, and SEO/GEO. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader will manage a team of digital contributors across digital operations, UI/UX design, email build, and website campaigns, partnering closely with Head of Client Coverage Technology. The role has a number of key responsibilities as detailed further below, all of which are being impacted by the evolution of LLMs and AI tools, and thus where leadership on this topic will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy
Define and own the firm's digital marketing strategy: establish the vision, roadmap, and annual priorities across the website, email, and all external client-facing digital touchpoints. Drive the continuous optimization of the digital estate, ensuring all external client-facing digital touchpoints are cohesive and aligned, with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes across institutional, intermediary, private wealth and LLM audiences. Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI use in marketing.
2. Website Implementation & Oversight
Serve as the marketing “owner” of the corporate website, in close partnership with Client Coverage Technology, leading on: content architecture, feature prioritization, and oversight/governance of sprint/release planning, taxonomy, metadata, ADA/WCAG compliance, and QA protocols. Drive the integration of the firm’s services and investment strategies into the website experience.
3. Growth Marketing & Optimization
Develop and execute growth marketing tactics including: landing page optimization, CRO, A/B and multivariate testing, personalization. Manage a continuous experimentation program benchmarked year-over-year against defined performance targets. Deploy AI-driven personalization engines and LLM-assisted content recommendation systems to deliver tailored digital experiences across audience segments
4. SEO & GEO
Develop and execute a search strategy spanning SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization): Lead technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, schema markup, structured data, and Core Web Vitals. Pioneer the firm's GEO practice to maximize discoverability across AI-powered platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
5. UX/UI
Oversee and uphold UX/UI standards across all digital properties: Lead the UI/UX team in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Maintain a scalable digital design system in coordination with the creative studio. Integrate AI-powered UX tools (e.g., session intelligence, heatmap AI, predictive UX modeling) to inform design decisions and improve digital experience outcomes.
6. Email Marketing
Oversee the email marketing system including: strategy, template build, deliverability, and performance analysis; A/B testing, personalization, and governance standards; brand compliance, accessibility, and CAN-SPAM/GDPR adherence.
7. Analytics & Reporting
Own website analytics and reporting infrastructure via Adobe Analytics, Sitecore, and Tableau: Track website KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion, SEO/GEO metrics, and content effectiveness. Translate data into roadmap prioritization, UX improvements, and resource decisions.
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive digital marketing and website management experience
Minimum 5+ years in financial services digital marketing — asset management, wealth management, or capital markets preferred
4+ years managing digital marketing teams
Demonstrated experience working with AI/LLM tools in a marketing context (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Jasper, Persado, or similar platforms)
Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI content governance, and responsible use frameworks

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $175,000-$225,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
