Reporting to the Group Security & Intelligence (GSI) Department and based within the Group Intelligence Center (GIC), the Head of Digital Investigations leads the team responsible for advanced digital intelligence and investigation activities. The role focuses on leveraging OSINT methodologies, digital monitoring tools, and specialized investigative techniques to support the safety and security of CMA CGM Group employees, assets, and operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will manage a team of data specialists and drive intelligence initiatives aimed at identifying, assessing, and mitigating security and business risks, including cyber threats, illicit trafficking, counterfeiting, and data exposure.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Lead and develop a team of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists.
Set priorities and provide strategic direction for investigative activities.
Oversee technical development projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Support the GIC Director in maintaining and developing relationships with government agencies and institutional partners in France and internationally.
Review and validate investigation requests from internal stakeholders and initiate appropriate investigative actions.
Ensure information and responses provided to authorities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor operational performance through reporting and statistical analysis.
Coordinate and support the delivery of strategic development projects.
Conduct advanced open-source investigations across the clear web, deep web, and dark web to identify and assess security and business threats.
Perform digital footprint, online visibility, and ecosystem analyses to support risk mitigation efforts.
Produce intelligence reports, assessments, and executive briefings.
Support the administration and optimization of intelligence-monitoring platforms covering areas such as online reputation, geopolitical developments, and emerging threats.
Analyze intelligence findings, escalate critical risks when necessary, and deliver actionable recommendations.
Identify and monitor relevant online sources, including social media channels and influential digital actors.
Maintain expertise in the latest OSINT tools, techniques, and methodologies, ensuring the Group benefits from best-in-class investigative capabilities.
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and professional ethics at all times.
Communicate sensitive findings to management through written reports and verbal briefings, in line with confidentiality requirements.
Contribute to the organization of Group Security & Intelligence events and initiatives.
Provide support to crisis management teams and participate in crisis response activities when required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Strong knowledge of investigative and analytical methodologies.
Advanced expertise in intelligence monitoring and digital investigation tools.
Extensive experience with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques and methodologies.
Solid understanding of French and international judicial, law enforcement, and customs environments.
Sound knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework governing OSINT activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Good command of written and spoken English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written communication and report-writing abilities.
