Design is how our partners experience WithSecure: how they find us, join us, manage their customers and renew. We are building a new commercial platform, and we are looking for a design leader who will shape it from the first idea to the finished experience.

As Head of Design, you will deliver the user experience for the new commercial platform, a key part of our Value Creation Plan. This is a new role reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You will set the design direction for WithSecure Elements and for the partner-facing experience, build and lead a design team, and create one design system that works as the single foundation for both people and AI-assisted design and development.

Your success is measured by design system coverage, partner onboarding time, usability across our releases and partner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the design direction for WithSecure Elements and for the partner-facing experience
• Deliver the user experience of the new commercial platform as part of our Value Creation Plan
• Build and lead the design team, and grow the design capability across Products
• Own one design system that AI-assisted design and development can use directly
• Redesign how Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and distributors work with us, from marketplace discovery to onboarding, managing their customers and renewals
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and our partner teams to turn partner needs into usable, consistent experiences
• Measure the impact of design through design system coverage, partner onboarding time, usability per release and partner satisfaction

What are we looking for?

• A senior design leader with a track record of building and leading design teams and delivering complex software products
• Experience of creating and owning a design system that is used across products and teams
• Strong product thinking: you connect design decisions to partner and business outcomes, and can show the results
• Experience of designing for business-to-business users, ideally in software, cyber security or platform environments
• Curiosity about AI: you use AI in your own work and can see how it changes the way design and development are done
• Credibility with senior leaders, and a collaborative, hands-on way of working with Product and Engineering
• Strong proficiency in AI technologies and tools.
• Proven experience in applying AI solutions to solve real-world business or technical challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and continuous learning mindset to keep up with evolving AI technologies.

Bonus points

• Experience of designing marketplaces, partner portals or onboarding and renewal journeys
• Experience of working with MSPs, distributors or other channel partners
• Experience of building a design function from scratch or through a major change
• Experience of designing for security or technically complex products

The salary displayed on this page represents the starting point for the role. Final compensation is discussed individually and depends on experience, skills, and the local market.
