Pramac,part of the third group in the world in the production of diesel and gas generators, is looking for an Head of Data CentreUK & Irelandthat will be responsible for leading and growing Pramac Generac’s Data Centre business across the UK & Ireland, delivering reliable and sustainable critical power solutions across Hyperscale, Colocation, and Enterprise markets.

The role owns the Data Centre vertical, including market strategy, key account development, and the delivery of complex, high-value projects across diesel and gas generators, switchgear, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Working closely with Sales, Technical, and Operations teams, this role ensures solutions are commercially competitive, technically robust, and operationally deliverable, positioning Pramac Generac as a trusted partner in the data centre sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Define and lead the Data Centre strategy for the UK & Ireland.
  • Expand Pramac Generac’s footprint across Hyperscale, Colocation, and Enterprise markets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and build a sustainable pipeline of projects.
  • Position Pramac Generac as a leading provider of critical power and energy solutions.

Business Development & Opportunity Ownership

  • Own and drive the full sales lifecycle from early engagement through to project delivery.
  • Identify, develop, and secure complex, high-value opportunities.
  • Lead major bids, tenders, and framework agreements.
  • Maintain a strong, structured pipeline aligned to growth targets.

Key Account & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the senior relationship owner for key Data Centre customers.
  • Build long-term relationships withEngineering consultants
  • Engage at senior levels within customer organisations.
  • Act as escalation point for key account issues in collaboration with internal teams.

Technical & Solution Leadership

  • Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support technical presentations, solution design, and project alignment.
  • Provide input into product development and application strategy.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

Essential

  • Experience in data centre / critical power sales
  • Strong knowledge of generators, switchgear, power systems
  • Network in UK & Ireland data centre market
  • Proven success in complex, high-value projects
  • Strong commercial & negotiation skills
  • Able to engage senior stakeholders
