The Head of Data & Analytics will support the Director of Business Capability by leading a team focused on bringing definition and clarity to the data, measurement, and insights needed to achieve our strategic goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of digital, reporting and business analysts to generate customer, strategic and commercial insights and track the performance of our strategy..
• Promote and extend Bupa’s capabilities in leveraging data in real time to improve and unify experience for our customers
• Design and build a robust reporting framework that ties each key area of: Intelligent Data, Connected Channels, Digital Enablers, Agile Execution, and Innovation & Growth.
• Provide expert consultation to senior leaders, driving priorities based on a holistic view - , providing the analytics insights that enable them to make informed decisions
• Work with data leaders across the organisation contributing to Bupa APACs Reporting and Insights and development of key data capabilities supporting digital, channel, marketing, and product areas
• Be a thought leader in new trends in digital metrics and measurement and for driving effectiveness and efficiency
• Provide input to develop and evolve the operating model for data, analytics and insights across the broader Bupa team to increase capability, leverage specialist expertise and improve efficiency of the current and future data platforms.
• Creating insights which can support driving commercial & strategic outcomes

What you’ll need to make it possible

• 10+ years of relevant experience in analytics, consulting, engineering or related quantitative role
• Specific domain knowledge and expertise in data visualisation tools and creating meaningful insights from enterprise reporting dashboards.
• Significant leadership experience translating insight into strategy and action
• Experience leading and scaling analytics, reporting and engineering teams
• Knowledge of and experience in measurement, attribution, econometric modelling, uplift testing, user segmentation and channel optimization.
• Adept in working with large, complex and unstructured datasets plus understanding of data landscape to create meaningful insights.
• Highly numeric with strong communication skills and the ability to communicate highly complex information in clear and simple language.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively influence a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leaders, technical and functional specialists, operational and line managers
• Experience in successfully partnering across functions in the development and implementation of strategies to deliver commercial outcomes within complex, matrix organisations
