Job Description

Travel Requirements:
This position requires approximately 10%–20% travel, primarily for key stakeholder meetings, leadership sessions, and strategic planning activities.

Leadership: Manages and provides leadership to predominantly exempt professional staff, including business systems analysts, solution leads/product owners, pipeline management, and data science teams. May indirectly oversee managers or team leads across multiple delivery functions.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in data, analytics, AI, technology delivery, or related disciplines, including senior‑level management responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end‑to‑end delivery of complex, enterprise‑scale data and AI initiatives from ideation through production and scale.
  • Strong understanding of data and AI governance, model risk management, and value realization practices in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to build and manage high‑performing, multidisciplinary teams across product management, data science, analytics, and delivery functions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience establishing SLAs, executive communication frameworks, and trusted business partnerships.
  • Experience collaborating closely with platform, architecture, and engineering teams to drive scalable and reusable solutions.
  • Provides strategic leadership for the enterprise data and AI delivery portfolio, overseeing intake, prioritization, triage, proof‑of‑concept development, solution build, and scale‑out of data and AI use cases.
  • Establishes and governs a standardized delivery lifecycle, ensuring all initiatives meet requirements for business case development, value definition, risk assessment, and regulatory, data, and model governance prior to advancement.
  • Leads cross‑functional teams including business systems analysts, solution leads/product owners, pipeline management, and data scientists to deliver complex, high‑impact data and AI solutions on time and within scope.
  • Partners closely with the Data & AI Platform team to translate delivery needs into platform requirements, ensuring reusable capabilities, scalable architectures, and efficient enablement of multiple products and use cases.
  • Oversees development, management, and ongoing monitoring of business cases, ensuring value realization is tracked, reported, and optimized from proof‑of‑concept through production and scale.
  • Establishes strong customer and stakeholder relationships, serving as a senior point of accountability for delivery outcomes, service‑level agreements (SLAs), communication, and issue resolution.
  • Ensures effective model and value monitoring practices are in place, including performance, drift, bias, risk, and realized business benefits across deployed AI solutions.
  • Sets vision, priorities, and resource allocation for the Data & AI Delivery organization, making complex decisions with significant organizational, financial, and operational impact.
  • Develops talent and succession plans by providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to build a high‑performing, engaged, and future‑ready delivery organization.
