This is a role for a senior leader who thinks in ecosystems. You'll own the strategy and execution of Sanofi's agentic AI landscape — ensuring that capabilities built anywhere in the organisation are shared everywhere, and that no team reinvents what already exists. From the Document Factory to the GenAI & AI Agent Hub, you'll steward the flagship platforms that make AI real for thousands of colleagues across R&D, commercial, manufacturing, and beyond.

But this role is about more than platforms. It's about preparing people for what's next — scanning the AI horizon, translating emerging signals into strategic bets, and ensuring Sanofi leads rather than follows in the age of intelligent, agentic AI.

In this role you will . . .

• . define and lead Sanofi's enterprise strategy for agentic AI, ensuring every team builds on a shared, governed foundation rather than creating isolated solutions.
• . own the full lifecycle of reusable AI and data components — so proven capabilities are built once and scaled across the entire organisation.
• . lead two flagship platforms — Document Factory and the GenAI & AI Agent Hub — driving adoption, measuring impact, and continuously raising the bar on performance and user experience.
• . partner with Data & AI leaders across all business verticals to identify duplication early and guide teams toward smarter, shared investment.
• . stay ahead of the AI curve — tracking emerging technologies, running rapid proof-of-concepts, and translating new advances into concrete opportunities before competitors do.
• . collaborate with senior leadership to align priorities, govern shared investment, and ensure all platforms meet the highest standards for security, compliance, and responsible AI.

About you

• Educational background in Engineering, Data, AI, or a related field with an advanced university degree.
• Proven track record of leading data, AI, or digital product strategy at enterprise scale, with experience building and scaling shared platforms across complex organisations.
• Deep knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI architectures, and modern data platforms — with a clear understanding of responsible AI practices and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• A strategic thinker who can also execute - comfortable moving between vision-setting and hands-on delivery, and skilled at influencing senior stakeholders across functions.
• Exceptional communicator - able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for any audience, from engineers to executives.
• Fluent English required.

The salary range for this position is :€136,320.00 - €181,760

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
