About the role | Leadership, Data Products & Business Impact

As Head of Customer Data Products, you will lead a team of talented data engineers responsible for shared customer data products that enable better decisions across Tryg.

This role combines people leadership with a strong focus on delivery, ownership, and business value creation.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a geographically distributed team of seven data engineering specialists
• Building a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative team culture
• Driving close collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring that data products create tangible value and are adopted in the business
• Taking clear ownership of data products and key deliveries, ensuring quality, transparency, and accountability
• Strengthening delivery reliability, prioritization, and execution capabilities
• Continuing the development of a product-oriented way of working, including roadmaps, prioritization, and lifecycle management
• Ensuring high-quality data products through strong governance, documentation, and clear ownership
• Contributing to the broader data platform and data product strategy in collaboration with platform teams
• Ensuring that the team's deliveries meet relevant governance and compliance requirements

You will play a key role in strengthening how we deliver, own, and scale customer data products across Tryg.

You will be most successful if you:

• Have proven experience leading and developing specialist teams
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Have experience navigating large organizations with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
• Have experience driving change and strengthening ways of working in evolving environments
• Bring experience from data engineering, data platforms, or a related technical field
• Have a strong understanding of core data engineering concepts such as data modelling and ETL/ELT
• Lead with accountability, openness to feedback, and a continuous improvement mindset

About us | Driving Tryg’s Data Transformation

The Chief Data Office (CDO) area was established in early 2026 and plays a central role in strengthening Tryg’s data-driven capabilities.

We are a growing organization of data, engineering, and analytics specialists working across multiple domains and teams. Within CustomerEx, you will collaborate closely with two sister teams as well as a broader set of data engineering teams across Tryg. Strengthening collaboration and alignment across these teams will be an important part of the role.

Our ambition is to professionalize and scale the use of data across Tryg - enabling better decisions, stronger customer experiences, and innovation. We are building a modern data foundation based on shared data products, reusable components, and common standards.

You will become part of a strong CDO leadership team, working closely with peers across domains to shape direction, priorities, and ways of working.
