We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Curriculum to lead one of the faculties at Cadbury College. This is a full-time, fixed-term role that represents an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership position, shape the curriculum, and drive academic excellence. Key Responsibilities

This role combines leadership with hands-on teaching, ensuring high standards across the curriculum while supporting both staff and students. You will play a key role in shaping the faculty’s direction, from timetable planning to staff mentoring and student progress reviews. With a strong focus on quality assurance, data analysis, and compliance, you will also work closely with awarding bodies and the college leadership team. Additionally, you will oversee student attendance and retention, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We are looking for a strong, proven leader with exceptional management skills and a passion for success. A commitment to meeting the needs of stakeholders and the local and regional community is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing Level 2 and 3 provision (T-Level experience is desirable), along with confident experience in managing a large team. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate staff and students to share a common set of values. The candidate should have high levels of energy and stamina, fostering a culture that encourages teamwork and ensures students perform at their best.

Central Campus Sandwell College is one of the newest FE Colleges in the UK and is a landmark for the development of education and training in the region.

Situated in an iconic building in the heart of West Bromwich, the College attracts learners from across Birmingham and the Black Country.

The majority of our learners are 16-18 and studying on full time courses; either vocational courses designed to prepare them for the modern workplace or academic study in our brand new sixth form Central Sixth.
