We’renot looking for someone who can list every AI tool that launched this month.We’re looking for the person who already tested three of them, discarded two, and built a production workflow around the one that actually works.

Havas Village ANZ is building a new AI-powered creative production capability.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role sitting within our in-house production operation, responsible for driving the quality, craft, and culture of AI-powered creative production across Havas Village ANZ.

You’llbuild andmaintainthe AI creative workflows that power our production outputs andoptimsedelivery processes That means working acrossall ofthe latest platforms, Havas’s proprietary Vermeer.ai, and the full spectrum of open-source and commercial tools that are reshaping the industry daily. If it generates, transforms, or accelerates creativeand content at scale,you’llhave access to it and the freedom to use it.

To be clear: we are not a one-stack operation.Yes, we have access to Havas’s Converged.AI ecosystem and the tools being built within it. That’sa genuine advantage. But we also expect you to be across everything happening in the market. Every new modelrelease Every workflow breakthrough. Every platform that could change how we deliverforclients. We need someone who is relentlessly curious, who tries everything, who forms their own opinion on what works and whatdoesn’t, and who brings those learnings back to the teamto scaleinnovationand create real ROI.

Mondayyou’reprototyping a videogenerationworkflowfor a campaign delivery.Tuesdayyou’rerunninga client workshop on what AI production can (andcan’t) deliver.Wednesdayyou’redeep in apipeline build for a product shoot.Thursdayyou’recollaboratingwith various village teams in concepting and playing withdifferent waysto bring a campaign to life Fridayyou’representing toHavas Village leadership on where creative AI is heading next quarter, andyou’vealready formed a view.

WhatYou’llDo

  • Own and evolve AI-integrated creative production workflows across image, video, audio, and text generation. Build the systems that move work from concept to delivery faster and at higher quality than traditional methods.

  • Architect andmaintainscalable production pipelines.You’llbe a master of theHavas’s global AI stack and the freedom toexperiment

  • Lead AI capability development across Havas Village ANZ production teams. Upskill producers, designers, editors, and creatives. Make AIfluencythe baseline, not the exception.

  • Stay relentlessly current and tool-agnostic. Evaluate new platforms, models, and workflows as theyemerge Test. Learn. Discard whatdoesn’twork. Scale what does. Build a culture where experimentation is expected, not tolerated.

  • Collaborate with Havas’s international network of Creative AI Directors, workflow specialists, and Studio AI teamsand contribute to global knowledge-sharing

  • Partnerwith leadership on client-facing initiatives: capability presentations, workshops, pitch responses, and consultancy engagements thatdemonstratethe commercial value of AI-powered creative production.

  • Champion ethical, responsible AI use. Navigate copyright, IP ownership, and brand safety with clarity, drawing on established frameworks within the Havas network, including Vermeer’s rights management protocols.

Who You Are

Youdon’tfit neatly into one box. Good. Neither does this role. Neither do we.

  • Deep, hands-onexpertisein generative AI creative workflows. Not just prompting. Building.Weavynodes, diffusion model pipelines, model training, image-to-video workflows, and everything in between. You know the toolchain because you use it daily, andyou’realready exploring the next one.

  • A creative background: design, motion, post-production, illustration, 3D, film, advertising, or a hybrid of several. You understand what “good” looks like becauseyou’vemade it.

  • Genuinely curious.You’rethe person who downloads the beta, reads the research paper, tests the open-source fork, and comes to work on Monday with an opinion.You’renot waiting for someone to tell you what tool to use.You’realready using it.

  • Entrepreneurial.You’reenergisedby building something new, notmaintainingsomething old.You’recomfortable with ambiguity, fast decisions, and the reality that a challenger operation moves differently to a legacy one.

  • A natural teacher. You can make complex technical workflows accessible to producers, account directors, or a roomofC-suite executives.You’veled workshops, training sessions, or educationalprogrammesin this spaceand are comfortable in presenting to large audiences

  • A strong perspective on AI ethics, bias, copyright, andresponsiblecommercial use. You can hold that conversation with a client, a creative director, or a journalist without defaulting to hype orhandwringing

  • Experience in or alongside agencies, production companies, or brand-side creative teams. You understand production economics: timelines, budgets, client expectations, and the politics of getting new things adopted insideorganisationsthatdon’talways move fast.

  • 7+ years in creative production or technology, with at least 2 years focused specifically on AI-powered creative workflows in a professional or commercial context.

  • Based in Sydney (or willing torelocate). This role sits within the Havas Village ANZ and requires regular in-person collaboration.

Even Better If

  • You’veworked with production automation, DAM,personalisation-at-scale, or dynamic creativeoptimisationplatforms.

  • You’reactive in open-source AI communities.

  • You have a portfolio, reel, or body of AI-assisted creative work at a professional standard.

  • You know the Australian advertising and production market.
