Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Creative Production based in Brazil.

This is a senior leadership role focused on building and scaling a high-performing creative production function within a fast-moving eCommerce and performance marketing environment.
You will lead a distributed team of Visual Creators and own the systems, standards and processes that turn creative strategy into high-performing advertising at scale.
The role combines people leadership, creative quality, operational excellence and commercial thinking.
You will establish production rhythms, improve workflows, remove bottlenecks and ensure the team can deliver high volumes without compromising quality.
You’ll work closely with Creative Strategy, Growth Strategy and Media Buying to connect creative execution with broader client and business objectives.
Success will come from developing a consistently strong team, increasing production efficiency and raising the standard of creative output.
This is an opportunity to shape a critical function with significant autonomy, ownership and direct influence on growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and develop a distributed team of Visual Creators, establishing clear expectations, performance standards and development plans.
  • Own the creative quality bar, ensuring work is not only technically complete but strategically effective, polished and aligned with performance objectives.
  • Coach team members through real work, providing actionable feedback, identifying development needs and building consistent performance across the team.
  • Manage production velocity, ensuring the function consistently delivers the required volume while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Identify production bottlenecks, inefficiencies and recurring issues, then design and implement solutions that improve speed, quality and reliability.
  • Build scalable production systems covering workflows, team structures, capacity planning, prioritisation, resource allocation and quality assurance.
  • Continuously evaluate how the production function can operate more effectively as volume, team size and client demands increase.
  • Own the connection between Creative Strategy and Production, ensuring strategic direction is translated into clear and effective creative execution.
  • Improve handover processes between strategists and creators to minimise friction and increase the quality and speed of delivery.
  • Partner with Growth Strategy and Media Buying teams to understand account performance, client requirements and the creative needs driving commercial results.
  • Use operational and performance data—including capacity, utilisation, output, revision rates, quality and delivery—to guide decisions and improve team effectiveness.
  • Represent the production function in cross-functional discussions and contribute to broader commercial and creative priorities.
  • Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of experience leading a creative production, creative operations or creative team within a digital agency, performance marketing or comparable environment.
    • Demonstrated experience managing, developing and motivating creative professionals while owning overall team output.
    • Strong understanding of paid social creative, digital advertising and the production processes required to create advertising content at scale.
    • A high creative standard and the ability to distinguish visually polished work from creative that is genuinely effective and performance-oriented.
    • Strong coaching and feedback skills, with the ability to clearly explain what needs to improve and help others reach a higher standard.
    • Systems-oriented mindset with a natural ability to identify patterns, bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
    • Strong organisational and operational capabilities, including experience with capacity planning, prioritisation, resource allocation and workflow management.
    • Comfortable using data and performance indicators to understand production efficiency and make informed decisions.
    • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-moving environment where priorities, client needs, platforms and market conditions can change quickly.
    • Strong cross-functional communication skills and confidence working with creative, growth and media stakeholders.
    • High level of ownership, initiative and accountability, with the ability to identify problems and improve processes without waiting for detailed instructions.
    • Comfortable working flexibly across Australian and US time zones, with primary working hours aligned to the Australian time zone and occasional US overlap.
    • Based in Brazil or another eligible LATAM/SEA location, with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
    • Own laptop and suitable professional workspace setup.
    • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones is advantageous.
    • Examples of creative work produced under your leadership are a plus.
    • Benefits:

      • Annual compensation of USD $30,000–$36,000, depending on experience.
      • Fully remote working arrangement for candidates based in eligible SEA or LATAM locations.
      • Direct access to senior leadership and genuine influence over the evolution of the creative production function.
      • Significant ownership and autonomy in building and scaling a high-impact function.
      • Opportunity to directly influence client growth, creative performance and overall business results.
      • International, distributed and high-trust working environment.
      • Opportunity to develop and lead a creative team while shaping scalable systems and processes.
      • Flexible working structure designed to accommodate collaboration across Australian and US time zones.
