  Serves as an in-house legal expert; a compliance officer of the Company.
• 
  Ensure company's compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements for entities in respective countries, predominantly India, U.A.E and Singapore.

  An expert in corporate laws, immigration laws, KYC & AML regulations and corporate governance
• 
  Chief advisor to the board of directors on best practices in corporate governance
• 
  Responsible for all regulatory compliances of the company.
• 
  Corporate planner and strategic manager.
• 
  Responsible for legal entity governance management and ensuring that the corporate governance framework of the company is properly designed, implemented, and maintained.
• 
  Responsible for engaging with and being the liaison for third-party corporate governance service providers, external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
• 
  Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.
• 
  Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.
• 
  Responsible for client relations, communicating with Board members, and coordinating customer onboarding and registrations.
• 
  Responsible for Undertaking assessment, determination and mitigation of legal & enterprise risk.
• 
  File necessary documents with registries, such as annual tax returns and audit reports, and liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors as required.

Requirements

. Minimum 12 years of experience as a Head of Secretarial / Legal Head / Lawyer.

· Qualification and Certificate in Corporate Governance from The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)

· Sound understanding of Companies Act

· Possess in-depth knowledge of all secretarial compliance, Companies Act and Laws

· Experience with and/or understanding of compliance issues, including prior experience in administering a compliance program.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including high level professional written communications

· Strong time and priorities management skills.
