Reviewing, recommending & approving of cases/requests presented from Corporate Banking Group (CBG) Team, this has to be in line with Bank's strategy & Central Bank's requirements..

• Review / recommend / approve credit proposals for new facilities as well as the renewal of existing ones.

• Perform a pro-active on-going credit monitoring & risk management on the client as well as the portfolio level, this has to be conducted through building a robust team.

• Assist CRO Egypt in enhancement & reviewing of credit policies in order to ensure that these reflect the best practice & regulate the risk assets of the bank as directed by the Board.

• Manage & analyze CBG credit portfolio in terms of portfolio concentration per industry, concentration per single obligor/group.

• Ensure that released approvals are in line with Central Bank of Egypt regulations as well as the bank's policies & procedures.

• Identify in a timely manner credit assets that may be moved to classified status in order to minimize loan provisioning.

• Keep up-to-date with Market & Regulatory issues that may affect credit decisions.

• Identify problem lending situations and recommend appropriate corrective action to minimize losses and maximize recoveries. Make recommendations for provisions as and when needed.

• Display a mature approach that leads to a balanced Risk & Reward equation for the bank.

• Performing a risk assessment, analyzing current risks & identifying potential risks that are affecting the company.

• Ensures that appropriate credit risk ratings are assigned to the borrowers & are effectively communicated to Business Team.

• Acts as secretary to and a member in some of the Riskco as well as other credit committees as assigned.

• University Graduate.

• Credit Course.

• Excellent command over spoken and written English.

• Wide Experience of at least 15 years with bulk of it being in the Credit Risk Management domain.

• Good knowledge of other areas including but not limited to SMEs, loan documentation, banking operations, accounting and some understanding of treasury and capital market products, local banking laws and working knowledge of legal issues attached to corporate lending.

• Well aware of Egyptian Market & Central Bank Regulations.

• Thorough understanding of bank policies, credit parameters, regulations.

• Knowledge of political & business environment in the country.

• Familiar with the use of technology.

• Good people management skills.

• Excellent analytical skills and an eye for details.

• Proactive, strong team player and the will to implement changes.

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation.

• Good attitude / leadership / communication and PC skills.
