Job Identification

We are looking for Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability to join our Corporate Affairs team in Bangladesh

Main Responsibilities

  • To ensure sustainable operations of CCI Bangladesh by well managing matters related to taxation, regulation, health tax, track & trace and reputational risk matters
  • Ensure fiscal Measures taken by government are fair to the beverage industry and safeguard our total investments into the country by providing CCI Bangladesh a level playing field for adequate ROI
  • Partner with Government and regulatory authorities to take a leading role within the beverage industry on achieving win-win situation related to discussions on sugar tax, health levy, plastic waste & other issues
  • "Manage all stakeholders at Federal / Provincial / Local level to find optimal solutions for CCI to invest and/or expansions.
  • Identify and execute avenues for operational savings for the business"
  • Expand CCI Bangladesh’s network of Government relationships by regular interface with relevant Government authorities
  • Identify strategic External Affairs issues and opportunities that could potentially impact the Business and recommend solutions consistent with business & Sutainability objectives and CCI’s global positions
  • Lead and drive internal and external communications. Lead all CCI Bangladesh’s governmental & non-governmental (including NGOs, Business Interest Groups, Academia, Agencies) stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure such efforts are consistent with CCI’s positions and are properly aligned to support the Company’s objectives
  • Lead CCI Bangladesh’s CSR programs in line with CCI vision which involves the key environment areas, and communities we operate in and sustain strong relationship with recycle partners like MRFs
  • Create and maintain an efficient and integrated structure for preventing and managing incidents, without escalation. Resolve escalated incidents / crisis by forming and leading Incident Management Teams
  • Drive the Sustainability Agenda of 2030 across the company. Engage with other departments to own, accept and drive this agenda as priority
  • Monitor the development of knowledge/skills of the team members by providing appropriate coaching and guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant subject
  • 10–15 years of professional experience, including at least 6–8 years of relevant functional experience
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to create impact across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking and rational decision-making abilities
  • Proven experience in leading and managing change
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to monitor global regulatory environments and identify potential industry or policy impacts
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and how they function
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Ability to build trust and foster value-based, sustainable organizational relationships
  • Capability to enhance performance, establish direction, and maintain a strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated experience in leading successful, high-performing teams
  • Systemic thinking with a continuous improvement mindset
