Nadara is looking for a Head of Construction Iberia.
In this role, you will play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects across Iberia, turning complex development plans into operational assets that support the energy transition. Working across wind, solar and BESS technologies, you will oversee construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality execution while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers.
This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, planning capability and on-site leadership, with a clear focus on performance, compliance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
You will manage for the whole Iberian portfolio all construction activities including:
Establish and maintain the construction execution strategy for wind , solar and BESS projects, defining sequencing, resource plans, contracting and packaging approach, and alignment with permitting, environmental, and regulatory requirements;
Support the definition of construction requirements during the contracting phase supporting Execution PM and Procurment including site and transport logistics;
Support Engineering in the design phase to optimize the construction costsì;
Ensure construction readiness prior to site mobilization by validating schedules, budgets, logistics plans, and construction methodologies, and confirming that all required design, procurement, and permitting deliverables are complete, approved, and integrated;
Provide governance oversight of daily site execution in coordination with the Project Manager, ensuring internal teams and contractors deliver construction activities safely, in accordance with approved plans, and in line with schedule, cost, and quality objectives;
Monitor construction performance against approved KPIs for schedule, cost, quality, and productivity; identify and mitigate risks; implement corrective actions; and support claims, variations, and change management processes where deviations arise;
Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and permitting obligations by coordinating with internal and external specialists, resolving construction-related technical issues, and translating regulatory and permit conditions into clear, auditable site execution requirements;
Define with the planning team standardized Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for a proper predictability and monitoring of the construction activities;
Manage contract and Non Conformities;
Strong focus on HSE requirements and compliance;
Key Requirements
At least 4 years previous experience in engineering and/or construction of renewable projects (Wind and grid infrastructure is a plus);
Knowledge on the renewable energies supply chain and construction processes;
Experience with complex supply chain control including far East suppliers;
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Good in MS Project or equivalent;
Excellent English language skills;
Willingness to extensive to travel to sites.
