WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Head of Compliance & RC, you will take ownership of the Compliance function of Trustmoore Luxembourg, a CSSF-regulated PSF. Subject to applicable regulatory approvals, you will act as RC in close coordination with the RR (Responsable du Respect). Reporting directly to the Managing Director – Governance, Legal & Compliance, you will lead the Compliance team and combine senior regulatory oversight with a genuinely hands-on approach.
Main responsibilities are:
Act, subject to applicable regulatory approvals, as RC, owning the AML/CFT framework — KYC/KYT and ongoing monitoring, sanctions/PEP/adverse media screening, suspicious activity assessment and escalation, high-risk relationships, and SCIRA and related risk assessments — in close coordination with the RR;
Elaborate, implement and follow up a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), personally ensuring controls are performed and properly documented, and escalating significant deficiencies;
Identify, put in place and follow up compliance improvement actions for the PSF, ensuring effective and timely remediation of gaps identified through monitoring, audits, incidents or regulatory feedback;
Be the senior relationship holder for Compliance matters with the CSSF, internal and external auditors, and other service providers, coordinating responses to regulatory requests and ensuring the quality and timeliness of Compliance-related filings and reporting;
Report directly to the Managing Director – Governance, Legal & Compliance, and prepare and present Compliance/RC reporting to the Authorised Management and the Board, escalating material issues independently;
Manage, lead and develop a local Compliance team and work in close collaboration with our Center of Excellence in Bulgaria, structuring and growing the function as a hands-on leader, remaining personally close to complex or sensitive files rather than operating purely at a supervisory level;
Act as Trustmoore Luxembourg's coordination point within the Group Risk & Compliance function, ensuring local regulatory requirements are properly reflected in Group policies and standards and vice versa;
Act as a genuine, independent challenge to the business and operational teams as second line of defence — pragmatic and proportionate, but uncompromising on regulatory robustness.
HOW DO YOU FIT IN THE TEAM?
We are looking for a pro-active team player, who can work independently in a sound manner. Communication is vital, as well as the ability to make (legal) decisions in a realistic manner. You must be able to organize, plan, communicate and execute in a pro-active manner, between multiple departments and within diverse business lines. You are immediately credible and autonomous in your interactions with the Managing Director, the Authorised Management, the Board, auditors and the CSSF, and comfortable taking full ownership of complex regulatory matters. You enjoy being hands-on and close to the operational reality of Compliance, and you build strong, trusted relationships with external stakeholders as naturally as with internal ones.
