The Role

The Head of Compliance and Risk Management Division is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all programs within the Compliance & Risk Management Division, including:

  1. Implementing risk management processes and providing risk-related reports for monitoring company performance and supporting management decision-making.
  2. Managing business continuity programs to ensure critical business functions continue during normal, emergency, and post-incident conditions.
  3. Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with OJK regulations.
  4. Ensuring company compliance in all operational activities and managing the Early Warning System (EWS).

Responsibilities

  1. Develop work plans and budgets for the Compliance & Risk Management Division.
  2. Ensure all processes comply with GCG, SOPs, and regulations.
  3. Manage risk analysis, mitigation strategies, and portfolio risk.
  4. Lead, coach, and develop the team.
  5. Ensure smooth operations and optimize resources.
  6. Improve systems, procedures, and workflows.
  7. Collaborate internally and externally.
  8. Oversee administrative functions.
  9. Evaluate risk management systems.

Core Duties

  1. Ensure job descriptions and SOPs are aligned with business developments.
  2. Conduct coaching and mentoring.
  3. Act as a role model for company values (AKHLAK).
  4. Oversee compliance, reporting governance, and risk security.
  5. Approve and control division budgets.
  6. Ensure regulatory compliance across the company.
  7. Ensure compliance implementation in all activities.
  8. Report compliance and risk issues.
  9. Plan and ensure EWS runs effectively.
  10. Ensure all business units operate according to regulations.

Job Challenges

  1. Adapting compliance and risk management to evolving regulations (especially OJK).
  2. Rapid technological changes.
  3. Constantly evolving business risks.
  4. Low awareness of compliance & BCM across the organization.

Authority

  1. Approve compliance & risk management reports.
  2. Propose division programs and initiatives.
  3. Approve updates to processes, job descriptions, and SOPs.
  4. Approve improvements to systems.

Requirements

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certifications:
    • CRMP (Risk Management)
    • Insurance certification (AAAIK / AAAIJ minimum)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
