At CoinJar, we've made cryptocurrency useful and accessible to clients for over a decade. Established in Australia in 2013, CoinJar has since built a trusted platform where clients benefit from intuitive tools to buy, sell, spend and trade cryptocurrency. CoinJar operates through local offices in Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland (CoinJar Europe Limited). Following our successful MiCAR authorisation in late 2025, CoinJar is looking to further grow across the EU in 2026.
About The Role
This is a senior position with responsibility for the design, implementation and ongoing effectiveness of both CoinJar Europe's AML/CTF & Compliance framework. You will be responsible for ensuring that CoinJar Europe operates within its regulatory permissions and maintains a robust, proportionate and effective control environment. The role combines regulatory compliance, AML/CTF, financial crime, regulatory engagement, governance, risk management and strategic advisory responsibilities. It is suited to candidates looking to step up into a more senior position. You may not tick every box on the list below, but we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, capability and drive, as well as relevant experience. If you believe you can make a real impact in the role, we’d encourage you to apply.
You will be expected to operate comfortably at both strategic and operational levels. This will give the candidate the opportunity to manage dynamic functions and to provide advice to the Board strategically on regulatory risk while at the same time managing the day to day compliance and AML functions.
Note: This role requires PCF-12 & PCF 52 Central Bank of Ireland approval.
