Our Founders are looking for a communication expert and sparring partner: After having scaled applike group & its entities to unicorn status , we feel it's time that our story needs to be told. We would like to hire our first ever Head of Communications who doesn't just manage PR, but strategically builds the narrative of our global mobile ad tech powerhouse and its Founders.
This isn't a "business as usual" role. You will work directly with the Founders to position applike groups as a leading force in the app economy.
The  applike group is committed to creating engaging experiences for every app user around the world. We are passionate about creating market-changing products, technologies and companies. We have already founded 4 companies. Our ventures are independent business units that benefit from each other’s technologies, expertise, and market access to become even more successful: adjoe is developing a breakthrough mobile advertising solution that enables app publishers around the world to grow their advertising revenues. justDice is the market leader in Mobile Gaming Loyalty Programs. Sunday is a next generation hybrid casual mobile game publisher. And justtrack offers a unique software to automate the entire mobile users acquisition process. Yet more to come.

What you will do:

• You will be instrumental in positioning applike group as THE upcoming global Tech company
• You are our Founders’ right hand in crafting high-impact communication for applike group and its entities: from keynote scripts to strategic LinkedIn positioning and other media channels, you ensure our founder-branding is world-class.
• You own our press relations. You don't just "send releases"; you have a deep network of tech and business journalists and know exactly how to land a story that moves the needle.
• You help translate complex tech (software , industry, product messaging) but also not fear writing critical stories about some markets for the global market.
• Culture business: a sense of regional identity
• You build, protect and project our reputation during hyper-growth, ensuring our internal and external messaging is seamless.

Who you are:

• You are a seasoned professional with 10+ years. You’ve been in the trenches of the tech startup/scale-up world and have seen what it takes to go from local hero to global player.
• Our #1 criteria: You have a proven track record of successfully managing high-level corporate comms and building a founder’s brand in a fast-paced tech environment.
• You write and speak  English and German at a highly professional level to cover our entire global presence from Germany to Singapore, Brazil, and the US. You can switch between a German internal alignment meeting and an international tech blog without breaking a sweat.
• You are proactive, direct, and comfortable challenging the status quo. You move fast and value results over long slide decks. You enjoy being hands-on and role-modeling ownership.
