POSITION TITLE: Head of Commercial Growth

POSITION LOCATION
New York, NY- onsite

YOUR ROLE
As Head of Commercial Growth, you have primary accountability for leading the commercial strategy and operations for a major growth function at CareScout—spanning institutional partnerships (B2B, B2B2C) and the build-out of a scalable Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) growth foundation. You will oversee CareScout’s partnerships organization (business development, partner onboarding/implementation, partner success, and relationship management) and lead the design and execution of our DTC go-to-market approach—how we bring products and services to market, drive adoption, improve retention, and scale engagement over time. This is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role for a builder who thrives in high ambiguity and cross-functional complexity, partnering deeply across Product, Marketing, Operations and Partnerships to improve commercial execution and reduce friction across the partner and consumer journey

What you will be doing
• Own and lead the integrated Commercial & GTM strategy (B2B, B2B2C, and DTC)
o Set the multi-year commercial strategy and translate it into an executable annual operating plan with clear priorities, outcomes, and metrics.
o Cascade strategy through a strategic plan for the commercial function and drive execution through operating rhythms
• Oversee and scale the Partnerships function including BD, onboarding, success and expansion.
o Lead CareScout’s partnerships team across business development, partner onboarding/implementation, partners enablement, partner success and ongoing relationship management across B2B and B2B2C channels
o Establish scalable partner playbooks and standards- segmentation, commercial packaging, launch plans, enablement, performance reporting, renewals/expansion to drive value and retention
• Build the DTC growth foundation and go-to-market engine
o Lead the build-out of CareScout’s DTC strategy, including how we bring products and services to market, drive adoption, improve retention, and scale consumer engagement over time.
o Create a repeatable DTC operating model: funnel definition, lifecycle engagement, roadmap experimentation, and measurement system to inform decisions and investments
• Drive cross-functional commercial execution and remove friction in the end-to-end journey
o Partner across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships to improve commercial execution, reduce friction across the consumer and partner journey, and support scalable growth.
o Identify the most complex, cross-functional execution problems and drive alignment on decisions, sequencing, ownership, and outcomes.
• Lead the commercial operating model, resourcing, and performance management
o Establish the commercial performance system: KPIs, dashboards, forecasting, and reviews that drive accountability and timely course correction.
o Own resource planning for the function (team structure, capability needs, and investment cases) consistent with VP leadership expectations of strategic/operational accountability.
• Build and develop a high-performing team in a “build while scaling” environment
o Act as a hands-on player-coach capable of building in an evolving environment with limited infrastructure, high ambiguity, and cross-functional complexity.
o Hire, develop, and retain top commercial talent; set clear expectations, coaching, and accountability mechanisms that raise execution maturity over time.

What you bring
Required
• 15+ years in commercial leadership roles spanning GTM, partnerships, growth, revenue, and/or customer success, with increasing scope and complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategy and operations for a major function/sub-function, including developing and executing strategic plans and influencing outcomes across senior stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional leadership: proven ability to align Product, Marketing, Operations, and partner-facing teams to deliver measurable growth outcomes.
• Builder mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity; able to establish structure, process, and operating cadence where infrastructure is limited.
Preferred
• Experience in healthcare, eldercare, insurance-adjacent, marketplace, or services businesses (or similarly complex, regulated environments).
• Experience scaling B2B/B2B2C partnerships and building DTC growth motions within the same business.
