Job Description


About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Head of Commercial Growth to lead field sales strategy and execution. This role is focused on acquiring and scaling customers, building sustainable growth channels, strengthening market presence, and shaping route-to-market (RTM) models to achieve strong commercial results.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Deliver profitable sales targets by managing assigned territories and channels.

  • Develop and implement action plans to ensure consistent coverage and expansion in designated markets.

  • Accelerate growth across categories through RTM design, customer acquisition, and team setup.

  • Continuously assess and refine RTM models to strengthen customer networks.

  • Identify long-term growth opportunities in channels and categories and design strategies to capture them.

  • Review and validate sales plans to ensure alignment with broader business priorities.

  • Build team capabilities, embed a culture of execution, and encourage coaching as a core management practice.

  • Define strategies, KPIs, and investment needs to strengthen key channels and prepare cases for implementation.

  • Conduct frequent market visits (about 70% of the time) to enhance customer and consumer engagement.

  • Collaborate with other functions such as operations and logistics to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, with emphasis on safety and minimising deviations.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.


  • 12–15 years of commercial experience across consumer marketing and/or customer management.


  • Extensive experience in the
    Telcos, technology or logistics

    industry with a strong track record in delivering results.


  • Proven ability to lead and coach large, remote teams.


  • Experience integrating field sales operations with support functions for seamless execution.


  • Strong commercial awareness, customer focus, and ability to influence stakeholders.


  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.


  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 70% field time).
