YOUR ROLE

We have an amazing opportunity within our Finished Vehicle Logistics team for a dynamic and customer-focused Head of Commercial where you will work closely with senior managers across the business, ensuring all operational, commercial, and customer facing activities are aligned and performing effectively.

This pivotal role will see you managing customer implementations, maintaining strong internal reporting and upward communication, and putting critical care measures in place where issues or bottlenecks arise.

The successful candidate will bring a strong solutions based approach, proven leadership capability, and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams with a clear customer focus and growth mindset. This role can be based from either our Upper Heyford or Chipping Warden operation.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As the Head of Commercial you will be responsible for the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through to delivery, performance, retention, and growth within the Mobility and Fleet Management sector. The role ensures products and services are delivered effectively, KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved, and commercial opportunities are maximised to drive growth, transformation, and cash performance. You will have key focuses on:

  • Owning the customer relationship and commercial performance for onboarded customers
  • Ensure successful delivery of products and services in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs
  • Drive customer growth, transformation initiatives, and commercial performance across the portfolio
  • Lead effective implementation activities for new customers
  • Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks early, and implement critical care or recovery plans as needed
  • Work collaboratively with senior managers to ensure all areas of the business are aligned to customer and commercial objectives
  • Provide clear reporting, insight, and escalation to senior leadership
  • Develop and lead strong, customer-focused teams with a high-performance and growth mindset

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in your application you will be able to demonstrate strong commercial and operational leadership experience with a background in mobility, fleet management or relating sectors. You will have a strong focus on customer outcomes, continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

You will be a natural communicator, able to build outstanding stakeholder relationships, be solutions oriented with the ability to resolve complex customer and business challenges and a proven ability to lead, coach and develop high performing teams.
