About this role

Role Focus

  • The Global Head of Clients for Private Data Services owns external client strategyandsenior relationshipsacrossLimited Partners (LPs),General Partners (GPs)and BlackRockfor PrivateDataServices

  • This role ensures that LPs canmaximizevalue from Private Markets Managed Data Services (includingeFrontInsight and integratedPreqincapabilities) whilenurturing and growing thedata contributedby GPs

CoreResponsibilities

1. Global AccountManagement

  • Oversee Account Management team, responsible forowningclient outcomes across onboarding, clientexperience, service quality, and value delivery

  • Serve as executive face of thebusiness, anddevelopdeep relationshipswithmanagementat clients

  • Act as theseniorescalation point for complex,highriskprivatedataclient issues.

2.GPEngagement

  • Lead GP engagement strategy to expandprivatemarketdata coverage through managed services.

  • Build out scaledonboarding andrelationshipmodeltodeepenconnectivity with GPs.

  • Driveindustryadoption of data and reporting standardstoincrease transparency.

3BlackRockas User/Provider

  • Faceoff toBlackRockinternal teams to ensure bestuser ofPrivate DataServices.

  • Drive adoption and valuerecognitionofnew services.

  • Create practitioner-level connectivity between BlackRockand key clients.

4Client Strategy

  • Defineclient strategybased onclient feedback, industry trends, and businessobjectives

  • Partner with Business Developmentteamson newprospectand existing client opportunities.

  • Interact with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to execute ondelivery of new capabilities and services.

Executive Profile – Ideal Candidate

Experience

  • Senior leadership background in private markets, alternatives, or managed data services

  • Proven ownership ofenterpriselevelclient relationships with asset managers, pension funds, insurers, or institutional investors

  • Experience navigating commercial growth alongside data sensitivity, regulatory expectations, and licensing constraints

Capabilities

  • Strong executive presence and client credibility

  • Excellent judgment balancing client demand with risk and governance constraints

  • Ability to influence platform andoperatingmodeldecisions without owning execution teams

  • Comfortablerepresentinga complex,multiproductecosystem externally

Leadership Style

  • Comfortable operating at Managing Director level across regions
