Your role

• Ensure compliance with the company regulatory and safety framework (people and properties on sites)
• Provide leadership and direction on the installation, testing, operation, and repair of equipment and facilities in compliance with all regulations to meet production schedules
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
• Manage the daily maintenance planning and support (corrective/preventative actions)
• Build and manage both internally and externally resourced maintenance programs
• Management and development of continuous improvement (involved in investment projects (CAPEX))
• Close management of maintenance budget considering technical requirements of the plant and the company’ results
• Preparation of maintenance budget including staff and major expense planning, emergency and routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and machine lubrication, to ensure achievement of budget goals through regular review and reporting
• Maintain a high standard of work ethic and workmanship for all employees in the Maintenance Organization

What we are looking for

• Master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years, or more, in a plant industrial maintenance or production role, preferable in Steel, Mining and Oil & Gas industry
• Technical knowledge, skills and abilities in the maintenance of industrial machinery
• Team management experience
• Flexible, invested, good human relationship
• Strong understanding of safety procedures: promoting and supporting actions towards Safety, Health and environment protection
• Languages: French (minimum) & English / German would be appreciated
