Head of Business (SVP / Managing Director Level)

A globally leading cryptocurrency exchange, with over 100 million registered users and the industry's most comprehensive product ecosystem, is seeking an outstanding Head of Business at the SVP/Managing Director level to take full P&L ownership of the entire ecosystem worldwide. Reporting directly to the group's top leadership, this is a true mini-CEO mandate. You will be the ultimate driver and ultimate decision-maker responsible for accelerating the platform from 100M+ users to the next order of magnitude in growth, revenue, and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume complete P&L accountability for the global exchange business; set and deliver aggressive revenue, user, volume, and profitability targets.
• Define and execute the overarching growth strategy; own the full lifecycle of all major products and business lines from concept, prioritisation, resource allocation, launch, to scaling and ongoing monetisation.
• Continuously track global Web3 trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape; identify high-impact opportunities and lead rapid international market entry and expansion.
• Orchestrate all growth levers, user acquisition, pricing, promotions, partnerships, community, branding, and on-chain initiatives to maximise global market share and user LTV.
• Drive rigorous, data-first decision making; own all core KPIs, revenue forecasting, cohort analysis, funnel optimisation, and margin improvement.
• Lead a large, high-performing international business organisation; hire, develop, and performance-manage multiple teams while maintaining a culture of speed, ownership, and innovation.
• Act as the primary cross-functional orchestrator, removing blockers with Product, Tech, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Marketing to ensure flawless execution at scale.
• Serve as the company's senior face externally: lead key strategic negotiations, represent the group at global summits, and build relationships with top-tier partners and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above (Finance, Computer Science, Business, or related fields preferred).
• 12+ years of aggressive growth leadership in internet platforms, fintech, or blockchain; candidates who have personally owned P&L and scaled user bases at hyper-growth companies are strongly preferred.
• Proven full P&L ownership at the GM/MD/SVP/VP level within a major crypto exchange or high-regulation fintech platform is essential.
• Mastery of the entire crypto product ecosystem and global operating dynamics, with demonstrable success launching and scaling businesses across multiple regions.
• World-class strategic vision combined with hands-on execution rigor; able to independently structure and deliver complex, cross-border initiatives end-to-end.
• Exceptional leadership track record, building and running large, multicultural teams in high-velocity environments.
• Language: Fully fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, used daily for executive communication, reporting, and negotiation.
• High-drive, entrepreneurial mindset that thrives on massive scale, ambiguity, and winning in competitive markets.

Hong Kong / Singapore / Malaysia (strong preference) or UAE hybrid/flexible arrangement.
