Our role Purpose

We have a permanent opportunity for a Head of Business Operations, reporting to the COO, Technology and primarily partnering with the Director of Digital. The role will support the Director of Digital in the delivery of the Bupa Technology strategy, aligning work to business priorities, and embedding Bupa Ways of Working in a complex, evolving environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operations of the Digital team ensuring the appropriate operating model is in place,
  • Partnering with other Technology teams (including COO), Finance, People and Enterprise Delivery Office to align on priorities, accelerate delivery, remove duplication and resolve blockers.
  • Driving modern delivery practices particularly agile ways of working across Digital
  • Leading the submission of reports, papers, dashboards, and insights to support executive decision-making
  • Supporting the broader Technology strategy, risk management, and change programs.

What you’ll need to make it possible

  • Strong expertise in Agile ways of working, with proven ability to embed and driveways of working
  • Experience operating in large, complex environments; digital experience strongly advantageous
  • Demonstrated success enabling cross-functional teams to deliver against local and group strategy
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in agile and performance management
  • Excellent written communication skills, with ability to translate team outcomes into executive and board-level reporting
  • Proven experience driving process improvement and supporting Business and broader Technology change initiatives
