About the team:

The Business and Partnership Management team (BPM) plays a critical role in supporting TikTok's Trust & Safety objectives. It is a centralised cross platform team responsible for managing the full lifecycle of BPO partner relationships, including sourcing and early-stage implementation, contracting, budgeting, cost, payment, and portfolio-level performance management.

In addition, BPM leads strategic initiatives across T&S Operations, as well as builds and maintains critical tooling and access infrastructure.

The Business Operations and Sourcing team sits within BPM and is responsible for managing global initiatives within the global Trust & Safety (T&S) Operations pillar and across our BPO partner landscape. This is done through:

- Managing cross-functional and change management projects

- Developing and implementing BPO sourcing strategies through market research, partner outreach and structured partner selection processes.

- Driving the global partner strategy for content moderation, with a focus on portfolio-level performance.

About the role

What will I be doing?

As the Head of Business Operations and Sourcing team, your primary responsibility will be to lead a team managing strategic cross-functional programs within Trust & Safety Operations and all BPO Sourcing activities. You will drive projects forward, implement process and program changes, and define new ways of working. You will be coordinating between Trust & Safety Operations leadership, Operations stakeholders, and cross functional teams to influence and achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Lead global projects and change management programs within Trust and Safety Operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive implementation.

- Prepare high quality business reports and deliver presentations tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Drive process improvements to improve the business management of T&S Operations

- Influence and drive alignment across lines of business teams to execute our roadmap, fostering a collaborative approach.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Trust & Safety Operations teams to gain a strong business understanding.

- Lead all T&S Operations Sourcing activities, acting as the primary interface with cross functional teams to address sourcing requirements

- Standardize sourcing and vendor management processes to improve governance, scalability, and cross functional collaboration

- Work with the procurement team to manage RFX processes for BPO optimisation and evaluate partner capabilities and performance

Minimum Qualification(s)

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Humanities, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

- At least 5 years of experience in program management, and/or 5 years of experience in Procurement or outsourcing management.

- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects including change management execution.

- Ability to work independently and exercise maturity in handling confidential information.

- Excellent skills in spoken and written communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence without authority.

Preferred Qualification(s)

- Experience in large-scale operations
