About the Role

The Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery performance of all customer engagements in the Netherlands.

The role ensures high-quality, predictable, and profitable delivery, balancing:

• Client satisfaction and service excellence
• Financial performance and margin optimization
• Operational stability and transformation outcomes

The CDO acts as the ultimate accountable for delivery, with mandate over:

• Day-2-day delivery across business lines.
• Major escalations and service risks
• Quality of Services on all accounts.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery Leadership

• Own the full delivery lifecycle across:

1. Managed services
2. Projects and transformation programs
3. Multi-tower service environments (Apps, Infra, Workplace and Security

Financial & P&L Accountability

• Own delivery-related P&L activities on accounts
• Drive:

1. Margin improvement
2. Cost efficiency (location, pyramid, automation)
3. Productivity gains and industrialization

Customer & Executive Engagement

• Build and maintain C-level client relationships (CIO, COO, CTO)
• Represent delivery in:

1. Executive governance forums (SteerCo customers, internal Management Business Reviews)
2. Crisis management and escalations

1. You own YoY external reporting on performance
2. You own maintaining relevant high levels of service and improvement where required for others.

Delivery Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure:

1. Compliance with contract terms, security, and regulatory requirements
2. Risk identification and mitigation across the portfolio

1. Major incidents
2. Service continuity risks
3. Delivery recoveries

Continuous Improvement

• Drive improvement programs, including:

1. Automation / AI-driven delivery
2. Service integration and standardization

• Embed:

1. Continuous improvement culture
2. Operational excellence

• Drive and Own continuous improvement in proactive / predictive delivery
• Continuously optimize and balance for

1. Ring-fenced teams
2. Global Delivery Centers (offshore/nearshore/onshore mix)

• Own workforce strategy:

1. Staffing pyramid (junior / medior / senior)
2. Capability development and reskilling

• Talent retention and leadership pipeline

Requirements

• Based in the Netherlands, preferably close to Eindhoven
• 15+ years experience in IT services delivery / outsourcing
• Proven leadership of large, multi-country delivery organizations
• Strong experience in:
  1. Managed services & transformation programs
  2. P&L ownership (> large-scale portfolio)
  3. Complex client governance
• Strong knowledge of:
  1. ITIL / service management frameworks
  2. Global delivery models
  3. Contract and commercial management
• Dutch and English is mandatory
