Job Description

Shape the business development strategy of a market-leading and nationally recognized Cybersecurity and Privacy practice.

Norton Rose Fulbright, a prestigious Am Law 20 firm, is seeking a new Head of Business Development to support its highly visible and collaborative Cybersecurity and Privacy practice. This role is key to strengthening the practice’s market position and accelerating long-term growth.

The ideal candidate brings a confident, executive presence and quickly earns credibility with partners and firm leadership. Reporting to the Director, Litigation and Disputes, US, this position offers the opportunity to lead innovative, strategic initiatives within a nationally recognized practice at a leading global law firm.

The role in action:

  • Partner with lead attorneys to drive revenue generating market strategies aligned with practice priorities.
  • Lead pitch and proposal initiatives, shaping strategy, guiding content development, and delivering high-quality submissions.
  • Execute business development and brand initiatives that enhance market visibility, track client priorities and competitive dynamics, and deliver market insights.
  • Collaborate with regional and global Business Development teams to identify cross-sell opportunities to expand service offerings.
  • Oversee key marketing operations, including sponsorships, conferences and events, legal directories, CRM systems, competitive intelligence, and budget management.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Bring 7+ years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a global law firm, with exposure to technology-driven practices including Cybersecurity, Privacy, eDiscovery, Intellectual Property, and Litigation.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Convey a confident, persuasive presence, the ability to translate complex issues into clear messages, and the discipline to manage multiple initiatives with precision and integrity.
