Job Title: Head of Business Development
This role is
responsible for leading the commercial and business development function of a
fast-growing digital commerce and marketing solutions company. The position
focuses on driving revenue growth, building strategic client relationships, and
leading a team responsible for integrated commercial solutions across creative,
media, influencer marketing, live commerce, and e-commerce operations.

candidate will oversee the entire commercial lifecycle, from strategic pitching
and client acquisition to expansion of services and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Commercial Narrative
- Lead strategic pitches with
senior client stakeholders including CMOs and Marketing Directors.
- Develop integrated commercial
proposals combining creative, media, influencer marketing, live commerce,
and digital strategies.
- Drive the land-expand-lock commercial model:
- Land: Acquire clients
through integrated strategic pitches
- Expand: Grow accounts
through additional commerce and marketing services
- Lock: Establish long-term
commercial partnerships
- Collaborate with creative and
strategy teams to develop compelling proposals.
- Oversee pricing strategy and
commercial terms across service offerings.
Build and Lead the Business Development Team
- Lead a team including
multiple commercial managers and their teams.
- Develop consultative selling
capabilities within the team.
- Establish onboarding programs
to ensure strong understanding of operations and service delivery.
- Maintain high standards for
pitch quality, pipeline discipline, and commercial accuracy.
Drive Pipeline and Revenue
- Own pipeline performance,
deal conversion, and revenue growth.
- Manage deal handover to
account management teams after successful closing.
- Work closely with finance
teams on quotation processes and service agreements.
- Monitor market trends,
competitor activity, and platform developments.
Commercial Strategy
- Align sales activities with
operational capacity and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with leadership
on long-term growth strategy.
- Provide regular reporting on
pipeline health and team performance.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in
advertising, digital marketing, or integrated agencies.
- Senior leadership level
(Business Director / Group Account Director level or equivalent).
- Proven track record in
consultative sales and strategic client partnerships.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial and
revenue-driven mindset.
- Ability to design full-funnel
marketing and commerce solutions.
- Experience building
integrated marketing proposals across multiple channels.
- Strong leadership experience
managing teams of 5–15+ people.
- Ability to lead high-level
client presentations and negotiations.
Language
- Strong Thai language skills.
- Working proficiency in
English.
Preferred Experience
- E-commerce platforms (e.g.,
social commerce or online marketplaces).
- Experience with influencer
marketing, live commerce, or digital marketing ecosystems.
- Existing brand or agency
network.
What Success Looks Like
- Establish strong internal
understanding of operations and teams within the first month.
- Lead multiple strategic
pitches and build a strong commercial pipeline within the first three
months.
- Develop a highly capable
business development team within six months.
- Build a scalable commercial
function that consistently drives integrated revenue growth.
