We’re looking for an experienced Head of Bookkeeping to join our Finance team in Herzliya. This role reports to the VP Finance and Accounting and plays a key role in transforming Finance, creating value for the company and scaling our global operations.

What You’ll Do and What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Manage the global bookkeeping team, including performance management, training, and delivery against global deadlines.
  • Act as a key owner and leader within the global finance team, overseeing critical aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and employee expenses, ensuring accurate recording, review, and reconciliation in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Provide oversight of bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and statutory reporting to all relevant authorities, including the ITA, National Insurance, tax advances, and employee benefit programs.
  • Lead the global payroll process, overseeing and reviewing the work of payroll professionals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across regions.
  • Ensure supplier payments are prepared, reviewed, and processed in accordance with approved payment runs, internal controls, and authorization policies.
  • Map, optimize, and continuously improve financial processes, driving the implementation of financial tools and automation initiatives
  • Manage long-term projects with clear deadlines and goals, ensuring successful execution and delivery of expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (e.g., Operations, Legal, FP&A) to drive financial excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the hi-tech industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of diverse business models and revenue recognition principles specific to the sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions, levels, and geographies.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of complex financial initiatives.
  • Exceptional ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment characterized by shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of collaborating effectively with individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • Unwavering commitment to accuracy and precision, coupled with exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Extensive bookkeeping experience (10+ years), including significant leadership responsibility as a lead or senior bookkeeper (5+ years).
  • Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing, including review, controls, and compliance.
  • Level 3 Bookkeeping certification or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Full professional fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Hebrew is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system is a must.
