The Head of Athletics champions and implements the RCS Athletics Playbook, ensuring that every sport, season, coach, and competition reflects the school’s mission, vision, and core values of Relationship, Character, Scripture, and Excellence. This leader sets the culture, develops coaches, partners with families, and oversees systems that allow athletics to flourish in a Christ-honoring manner, fully aligned with the life of the classroom.

In collaboration with the Head of School, the Head of Athletics provides operational and cultural oversight support to the Director of Spiritual Formation for Athletics, ensuring that biblical immersion and discipleship are fully integrated into all athletic programs. While formal supervision of the Director of Spiritual Formation for Athletics remains with the Head of School, the Head of Athletics partners closely to ensure alignment, consistency, and effectiveness across athletics.
