We are looking for a Head of AI / AI Subject Matter Expert to lead and shape the AI portfolio for a Japanese fintech product company.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the AI portfolio and strategy, driving AI-led transformation and innovation.
• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers and senior stakeholders.
• Drive consulting engagements, solutioning, and AI strategy with enterprise customers.
• Lead a team while remaining ~40% hands-on in AI strategy, solution design, and problem-solving.
• Work closely with business, product, and technology teams to identify and execute high-impact AI opportunities.

What We’re Looking For :

• 12+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in AI/ML and consulting.
• Experience from leading consulting firms such as BCG, Bain, McKinsey, or Accenture is preferred.
• BTech or MTech from a top institute.
• Strong experience in customer-facing, consulting, and stakeholder management roles.
• Proven experience in leading AI portfolios/initiatives and teams.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to remain technically hands-on.
• Experience in fintech, banking, NBFC, or financial services would be an advantage.
