Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results with a shared insight and purpose, including the ability to tenaciously sell and propose creative technologies across a landscape of key decision makers.
  • Experience influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders, and driving results in complex, agile environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, mobile advertising, and key competitor landscape across traditional and digital media advertising.
  • Understanding of customer business objectives and ability to develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to showcase leadership in sales/operations management, strategic planning, and systems thinking, to deliver customer business outcomes.

The Americas Apps Leads (AALs) are a team of specialist sellers who work across Americas LCS to grow advertisers' investment in App Campaigns (ACi and ACe) and related solutions. We see a significant untapped opportunity to help ALCS customers understand and activate mobile apps to deliver profitable growth. Our mission is to help advertisers earn a place in the palms, pockets, and hearts of consumers everywhere by deploying and promoting fantastic mobile apps.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive stakeholders, including Sales VPs across ALCS and with stakeholders across GPS (formerly GPL), PM, GTM, Mastery, Ads Marketing, and more. Develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
