The Head of Affinity Partnerships, Bancassurance & Marketing is a strategic commercial and people leadership role responsible for driving membership growth, revenue generation, brand visibility, and market expansion for MediCard through strategic partnerships, bancassurance channels, and integrated marketing initiatives. The role leads the development and execution of growth strategies across banks, financial institutions, cooperatives, associations, schools, LGUs, employers, and other affinity networks while strengthening MediCard's brand, customer acquisition, and member engagement efforts.
As a key member of the commercial leadership team, this position oversees partnership acquisition, channel development, marketing programs, and customer growth initiatives to achieve business targets and enhance MediCard's market presence. The role manages a team responsible for business development, partner relationship management, bancassurance sales, and marketing execution.Develop and execute strategies to drive membership growth, revenue, and market expansion through affinity partnerships, bancassurance, and marketing channels.
Build and manage strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, cooperatives, associations, schools, LGUs, corporate groups, and other distribution partners.
Lead partnership negotiations, program implementation, and commercial agreements to maximize channel performance.
Drive customer acquisition, lead generation, brand awareness, and retention initiatives across HMO and healthcare products and services.
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing programs, and co-branded partner activations.
Monitor channel, sales, and marketing performance, ensuring achievement of membership, revenue, and profitability targets.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Medical Services, Customer Experience, Product, and Digital teams to deliver sustainable business growth.
Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team while promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
Qualification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management, Economics, or a related field.
MBA or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, bancassurance, sales, marketing, or commercial leadership roles.
At least 3-5 years of people management experience leading multi-functional teams.
Proven track record in driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, channel development, and partnership management.
Experience within the HMO, healthcare, insurance, banking, financial services, or related industries is highly preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
Professional certifications in Marketing, Sales, Digital Marketing, Business Development, or Project Management are an advantage.
Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP), Certified Marketing Professional (CMP), or equivalent certifications preferred but not required.
